Andrea Cecchi

Andrea has studied both in Italy and California and attended the Film Making course at New York University. Andrea has an innate ability to engage with actors enabling them to express their emotions at best both in drammatic and comic situations.

Andrea started his career as editor and then became executive producer and subsequently senior in production companies BRW&Partners, Mercurio and later in Leo Burnett. Andrea worked in many international productions that allowed him to collaborate with the most reputed leading talents of the industry. This experience has allowed Andrea to fine tune his skills and to shoot many video clips and short movies.

Andrea is also writer and scriptwriter: 1994 marks his debut behind the camera with a commercial for Procter & Gamble with which he won the ANIPA (Associazione nazionale produttori pubblicitari professionisti) award for direction. 2000 is a milestone in Andrea’s career as a writer when he was awarded the Literature Prize from the city of Prato with his story “Blu Wood”.

Today Andrea works with Bedeschi Film and he is a member of the ADCI (Italian Art Directors Club) and he has good track record of international awards and recognitions just to name a few:

In 2008 The Gunn Report USA featured Andrea’s commercial “Performance” for Paolo Grassi School of Drama amongst the best 100 commercials worldwide that year.
