Giovanni was born in Milan in 1984. In 2013 he won 3 Gold Lions and 3 Golds at London International Awards with his commercial for Coca Cola.
Today Giovanni lives between Milan and Singapore. This he already did when he decided to continue his studies in the small Asian state after graduating with a degree in Philosophy of History from Milan Università San Raffaele. He won a scholarship to attend NYU Tisch School of Arts in Singapore where he obtained a Master in Fine Arts in Filming under the supervision of Oliver Stone.
During the course of his studies he wrote and directed several short movies distributed by British Shorts International and American Indieflix. These shorts were screened at many international film festivals.
After finishing his studies, Giovanni worked with several international agencies like Ogilvy & Mather, Grey and Fred&Farid. He has directed commercials for leading brands like Heineken, Coca Cola, Lexus, Air France, Enel and Samsung. Giovanni’s work is characterized by an expert, balanced mix of traditional cinematic style and innovative visual experiments.
