Alberto Poli

Alberto was born in Monza in 1988. He earned a degree in Communication Psychology at Università Vita e Salute San Raffaele in Milan.He started his career in 2011 as assistant director working for well established directors like Giovanni Bedeschi, Richard de Aragues, Wayne Holloway, Luca Robecchi, Guido Belforte, Gigi Piola and Edoardo Lugari.

He has directed the video “Beauty to the people” for the brand of glasses Glassing which was aired on MTV.

In 2012 Alberto won the best editing award at the LILT (Lega Italiana per la lotta contro i tumori-Italian Cancer Association) competition in Milan with his film “Fumare migliora la vita” (“Smoking improves your life”). In 2015 he won a bronze at the Italian Art Directors Club for the campaign he directed for Discovery Real Time “L’Italiano made in China” with famous Italian singer Toto Cutugno. Alberto was chosen by JWT to shoot the fund raising campaign for We World for women victims of domestic abuse. He recently directed a campaign for Pubblicità Progresso and Assolombarda to promote the industry passage from mechanics to mechatronics.

At the 2017 ADCI awards Alberto won the special Equal prize with the (viral) campaign #Doittogether for JWT Italia client Indesit with Creative Director Sergio Rodriguez.

Alberto is fond of good music. He plays guitar and the transverse flute. Directing is his true passion, which lead him to join the roster of young directors in Bedeschifilm with exclusive representation.
